Three States in One Day!!  ( I am still new at this so my pictures are not very organized)

This phone booth really works!
In July, I went to visit my very good friend April Brown. I flew into Minnesota but it was late when I got there so April and I drove our two hours to LaCrosse, WI.  Friday, April gave me a tour of the town and in the evening we met some of her friends for dinner and then went to enjoy a show put on by children in a theater camp for a week. April's daughter, Maya, has been doing this camp for four years now and got to be a councelor. She ran sound for the play and did a lovely job.Saturday, April and I got to spend the day together   traveling the roads and enjoying the lovely weather. We started with breakfast at a local restaurant with the family and then we set out to hit the road.  We first stopped at Lanesboro, Minnesota for a late lunch at a small diner called Pedal Pushers. I had the special which was lasagna and garlic toast. April had a hamburger and both of us was satisfied. After leaving the diner we walked around and stopped by a local novelty store for some souvenirs. I bought a sewing kit/pill box combo.  It is Awesome!!
The honor system and it was great tasting honey!!
scenery between Minnesota and Iowa

Back on the road we headed to Decorah, Iowa with one stop at a self serve honey stand. Delish!! Decorah is a nice little town with a great little ice cream shop where I had some blueberry cheesecake ice cream.  The decorations were just right for the feel of the place and the gentleman that owned the shop was very nice.
