You will notice as I write more and more post that a lot of my Blogs will be about my very close group of friends. I am grateful to have a group of friends and family that are true, real, and supportive of me. We have a few traditions, one being Thanksgiving dinner. Some of us don't have family that lives close and some of us don't have families at all. Thanksgiving can be very lonely without someone so we started getting together a few years ago on Thanksgiving afternoon/night.I am lucky to have a family that I spend the day with my family (we have lunch around 1 in Franklin,AR) and get home in time to make it to Friends Thanksgiving in time for a great dinner. I am glad we do this and hope we keep it up for many years to come. Do your friends have any traditions?
I need to start doing one of these up here. We're always alone on Thanksgiving, and a lot of my friends can't make it home because of stupid Verizon not shutting down customer service on holidays.
